The hotel reported they were completely sold out for the month that Elvis would be at the International. Talk is that Elvis may be planning to make a world tour. He was very excited to perform before a live audience again, since the last time he appeared in Las Vegas, it was thirteen years ago. He was on the bill in 1956 at the New Frontier Hotel and Elvis himself said, "Nobody hardly knew who I was then. The audience just sat on their hands." However, after Elvis appeared at the International Hotel in 1969, no one had to ask, "Elvis who?"
