Abhishek "Abhi" Sharma is an energetic youngster from a rich family whose over-protective businessman father, the venerable Siddhant Kumar Sharma, wants him to take over his family business and has the final say in every decision of his son's life. Frustrated with this over-indulgence on Siddhant's part, Abhishek half-heartedly agrees to become engaged to Kajal, a rich man's daughter, but then falls for a middle-class young woman called Muskaan Mathur, unaware that he was involved in an incident with her father M. M. Mathur once when drunk. Eventually, as she confesses her love for him, Abhishek loudly proclaims his love for Muskaan too, but is caught by Siddhant; in the drama that ensues, Siddhant agrees to Abhishek's request of meeting Muskaan once, giving him an ultimatum that she must prove her worth within 7 days.
Muskaan joins the Sharma family for a vacation in Thailand on a false pretext by lying to her father for the first time; over the course of the 7-day bound, her actions irritate Abhishek to no end, as he wants her to behave in a specific way. However, at his best friend's wedding, Abhishek bumps again into M. M. Mathur, who locates his daughter. An altercation between the lovebirds eventually culminates in Muskaan announcing that she doesn't want to marry Abhishek, despite Siddhant having secretly decided in favor of it. Muskaan is confined to house arrest by M. M. Mathur upon returning to Mumbai, and the Sharma family, including Abhishek himself and his mother Lakshmi Sharma, finally confronts Siddhant about his overbearing nature. Siddhant comes to terms with his son's desire to marry a girl of his choice, and lets Abhishek and the others choose their own paths in life. Later, he meets Muskaan and brings her back to the Sharma family, while making the same deal to her father that he had made to Abhishek. The film ends with Abhishek and Muskaan getting married.
There's another type of HD, called 4K, that's specific to movie theater and cinematic displays and has slightly higher pixel totals (it uses an even wider, 256:135 aspect ratio). Yet many consumer-level manufacturers use the terms Ultra HD and 4K interchangeably. Similarly, the term HD is sometimes used to describe both 720p and 1080p displays, but the term Full HD is used only to describe 1080p-level models.
Full HD (1080p): Full HD displays dominate the market and have for years been the accepted standard for most home and office uses. They're ideally suited for basic gaming needs, video streaming from services like Netflix and Hulu, and watching DVDs and online videos.
Quad HD (1440p): Quad HD displays are gaining popularity with gamers who want more pixels than with Full HD but don't want to pay for Ultra HD. They're also ideal for editing photos and videos taken with today's advanced smartphones, which typically capture at resolutions higher than 1080p.
720p models are adequate for many users, and cost about the same as more sophisticated cameras. Those featuring 1080p require more storage and bandwidth, but also provide greater detail for not too much higher a price.
1080p signifies high definition: 1920 pixels in width and 1080 in height, or a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. 720p cameras feature older technology, though legacy installations can be easily integrated with newer systems.
Real-time video streaming to a mobile device will be easier with 720p quality due to its lower bandwidth requirements. Most internet connections can easily stream at 1080p without issues, but a slowdown may cause lag with higher-resolution cameras.
Even when recording continuously for one week, a 1080p camera will consume only 113 gigabytes (GB) of space. Many modern cameras also have advanced features such as motion sensors and video analytics. Since these are activated only when movement is detected, they extend memory, storage, and battery life.
A higher-resolution camera packs more pixels into an image, so it aids with recognition and identification at greater distances. 1080p footage, therefore, is better for deciphering identifications from longer ranges and bigger properties.
No specific system can capture every scene, however a higher-resolution security camera provides a slightly better chance of collecting important details. Stiffer competition has lowered the price of 1080p cameras comparable to 720p models. An upgrade could be worth the slightly higher cost.
Now that you have a better understanding of how the technologies differ, check out how QLED and OLED TVs compare. Below are the pros and cons to consider when it comes to picture quality, lifespan, price, and more.
Pros: good screen, good speakers, great battery life, microSD card slot, USB-C charging, headphones socket, reasonable performance for the money, Alexa integration, wireless charging (Plus version only).
For reference, 480p is considered standard definition. 1080p is sometimes called "full HD," and is the highest quality that a lot of YouTube channels upload in. While 4K video isn't as widespread, many channels do provide 4K media.
In addition to the above, the YouTube app lets you set a general quality preference for all videos. This lets you avoid HD playback while on mobile data so that Auto mode doesn't decide to stream at 1080p.
Frame rate: How many frames per second are displayed, in frames per second (fps). Common inputs: 10fps (outrageously low, infuriating to the human eye frame rate), 24 fps, 30 fps (standard for digital video), 60 fps (beautiful and lifelike).
Keeping a fine balance between bitrate, frame rate, and output resolution is what makes a good stream. How high you can go depends largely on the type of encoder you use and your Internet bandwidth. For example, with sufficient bandwidth, a hardware encoder like Pearl-2 is able to stream 1080p resolution at 60 fps without skipping a beat, whereas an older computer with streaming software may really struggle, dropping frames and causing buffering even with sufficient bandwidth. 2b1af7f3a8
